Refund policy
last updated · 2026-06-13We want you to actually use what you paid for. If GapForApp isn't a fit, the refund rules below apply. Anything that doesn't fit a clear bucket — just email support@painfinder.appand we'll work it out.
01Monthly subscriptions (Pro and BYOK)
Cancel at any time in one click from your account — access continues to the end of your billing period and you won't be charged again.
Full refund available within 14 days of your first chargeon a plan. A renewal charge is refundable within 14 days if you haven't used the plan in that billing cycle (no reports run, no full-report access used). After 14 days, no automatic refund — the subscription simply runs to the end of the period after you cancel.
02How to request a refund
Email support@painfinder.app with your account email and the order ID from your receipt, or use the link in the receipt itself. We respond inside 2 business days.
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our merchant of record — refunds are issued through Paddle back to the original payment method, typically settling within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. You can also raise a request directly from your Paddle receipt.
03When refunds don't apply
- Charges older than the 14-day window.
- Renewal charges in a cycle where the plan was used (reports run or full-report access used) — the compute cost was already incurred on your behalf.
- Accounts terminated for violating the Terms of Service (e.g. spamming Reddit, scraping outside your own OAuth quota, automated posting from GapForApp outputs).
04Free plan
The Free plan (30 credits / month) is not billed, so there's nothing to refund — downgrade or delete your account at any time.
05Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves (new plans, new payment providers, etc.). Material changes will be announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect for existing subscribers.
